The manufacturer recommends dry cleaning only. Avoid machine washing or harsh detergents which can strip the canvas's natural weatherproofing. If bird mess or dirt gets on the canvas, most can be removed with water and a cloth as one buyer found after camping in a garden with pigeons nearby.
