The Bell Tent Boutique 5m StoveMate Pro is a canvas bell tent built for four-season use. It's made from 360gsm PROBAN cotton canvas that meets BS7837 and CPAI-84 fire safety standards. The fire retardant treatment is permanently embedded in the fibres, so it won't wash out or wear off over time.
This tent sleeps up to 8 people with sleeping bags, or 3-4 in a glamping setup with beds. The Kevlar stove hole lets you run a stove safely inside, with a canvas flap that covers it when not needed. The groundsheet is 540gsm PVC and zips out fully for ventilation or easier packing.

Yes. The tent includes a StoveMate Kevlar stove hole made from 300gsm woven Kevlar reinforced with Dupont Kevlar yarn. This lets a stove pipe pass through the canvas safely without risk of scorching. When you're not using a stove, a 360gsm Proban canvas flap covers the hole to keep the tent weatherproof.
Around 15 minutes with two people, thanks to the Rapidpitch design. The spring-loaded poles snap into place rather than needing to be threaded piece by piece and the heat-welded D-ring anchor points make attaching guy ropes straightforward. Steel easy-lock tensioners also speed up final adjustments once the tent is upright.
Yes. The 540gsm PVC groundsheet zips in around the base of the tent and can be fully detached. This is useful if you want extra ventilation in warm weather, need to pack the tent down without the groundsheet, or want to clean the groundsheet separately from the canvas.
The tent has a wind rating of 35 mph. The reflective guy ropes, steel easy-lock tensioners and heavy duty rebar pegs work together to keep the structure anchored in this range. As with any canvas tent, checking guy rope tension after strong wind or rain is good practice.
Natural cotton canvas breathes far better than synthetic tent fabrics. Air can pass through the fibres, which reduces the build-up of condensation on the inside of the tent. This is one reason cotton canvas bell tents feel drier inside compared with polyester tents, especially overnight when temperatures drop.

The canvas is dry clean only. Avoid machine washing or using household detergents, as these can strip the PROBAN fire retardant treatment or damage the waterproof coating on the groundsheet. Store the tent dry and clean to avoid mould and check the care label for specific dry cleaning guidance.
